Turning Bluetooth off / on on the Mac clears this. Having used a wired Wacom tablet for some time, I was thrilled to see a Bluetooth version. This means that one less wire to worry about, but also in presentations I can stand up with the tablet and scribble, point and draw whilst on the move.The tablet is very good, hooks up to my Macbook Pro easily and is responsive with both the pen and the mouse.The battery time is about two long working days between charges - it does power off when your machine sleeps which is good.The one niggle is that sometimes when the machine sleeps, the tablet somehow gets confused and thinks it is attached to something but pen / mouse movements not registered. Like I said, slight niggle - could be how Mac Bluetooth works.All in all though, excellent product - typical Wacom high standard of build and responsiveness.If you need a graphics tablet - or want something easier than a mouse - give this a try. I hardly use a mouse anymore, holding the pen is so much more natural - just have to remember not to take it with me when I leave my desk (as I have done and wondered where I put it down).
From the minute I have installed my Wacom Graphire, I can't tear myself away. The fact that the back end is an eraser (). It's responsive and easy to use, simple to install, and the bluetooth connection means I'm not limited by a cable when I decide how to hold and use it. The size is easy to work with - small enough to hold comfortably, and big enough to be accurate as you work.Graphics programs such as photoshop and painter also utilize the pen nib pressure sensitivity, making lines thicker the harder you press - just like artists media in the real world. is so intuitive and logical, the work flows naturally.It's also very good-looking. and even comes with a template so you can customize your tablet.I would recommend every designer/artist get one of these toy/tools.
Wacom Graphire Bluetooth 6 x 8-Inch Tablet My order was delivered promptly. However, I had a little trouble getting started with it. I contacted Wacom: THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS GREAT. Oh, and the tablet works perfectly.
I purchased this tablet as a part of my ongoing war on wires and dongles; and I couldn't be happier that I did. The tablet is the perfect size for a graphic artist on the run and now lives in my laptop bag.As expected from Wacom, the tablet is responsive and accurate. It has a great feel and a long lasting battery. Highly recommended.
The Wacom website is worthless too. The pen would only work in the upper left fourth part the drawing area in Photoshop and several other programs I tried it in. Never did work. No decent troubleshooting pages. I will be packing this up and returning it. The mouse wouldn't work at all. I tried sending them an email. If there were an option for zero stars, that's what I'd give it.
